One Database for Products, Customers, and Orders
All orders flow to your admin panel with an associated order type of “Facebook” so that you can manage orders and customers in one place regardless of whether they came from the web, your mobile site, the iPad tasting room app, or your Facebook store. As with any other order type, your Facebook orders will display in reports and in the dashboards, providing the insights you need in order to understand where your customers are coming from and market to them more effectively.
More than Just a Facebook Store
The new Facebook store comes with a number of additional features to help you fine tune your Facebook presence.
- Wine Club Signup: Your Facebook fans can join a club and receive benefits directly from your page.
- Custom Fan Pages: Use the Content Management System to create just about any type of page you’d like on Facebook. Modules like the Blog and Event Calendar are also available.
- Deep Link to Products within Your Store: Create promotions on your landing page and link them to products in your store.
- Capture Information: Use the Form Builder to create surveys or other forms that will allow you to capture data about your fans’ preferences.
- Show Custom Content to People Who “Like” Your Page: This is a great way to build your Facebook presence. Simply offer a coupon code to “fans” and encourage visitors to “like” your page and receive the fan discount.
- Analytics: Understand what content your customers are engaging with using Google Analytics. Since your fan page is public, it’s SEO friendly.
Wine is a Social Experience
What better way to build on its inherent social qualities than by using Facebook to present your wines and to encourage fans to share their experiences? Using the Facebook commerce features, your fans have the option of linking their purchases to their own Facebook walls, in effect sharing your brand among their own social circles.
Facebook Commerce Will Help you Stay in Front of a Changing Marketplace
Facebook currently has over 800 million active users. And according to Nielsen, Facebook visitors spend nearly eight hours per month on Facebook. Even more interesting, though, is the fact that an increasing number of users are accessing Facebook through their mobile devices everyday (current estimates are at 350+ million.)
We think the time is now to build your Facebook Commerce presence. According to a recent report by Booz & Company, Facebook commerce will increase six fold by 2015 to a total of $30 billion.
